Center for Global Education & Field Study

The Center for Global Education & Field Study empowers and supports the CC community to engage in intercultural, international, and experiential learning by leveraging the opportunities of the Block Plan.

We support students who study off-campus domestically, internationally, and on field study programs unique to the Block Plan, incoming international students, faculty who lead students on off-campus programs, and international faculty who require immigration services. We are located on the second floor of Armstrong Hall in rooms 213A-218 (southwest corner of the building).

Welcome back for the 2021-2022 year! The Center for Global Education & Field Study looks forward to resuming in-person, masked advising and support services to our offices in Armstrong Hall. We have on-campus representation daily from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, in many cases with multiple staff members on-site each day, while others will be working and accessible from home. Due to individual needs and work-from-home or vacation allowances, it is not possible to guarantee that any one staff member will be present on a given day, however, you can expect that someone will be present who can address your interests, questions, or concerns each day. Of course, virtual appointments and communication via email or phone with any of our staff is always an option during standard office hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm).
