IGNITE YOUR PASSION | UNLEASH YOUR POTENTIAL

Colorado College recognizes and honors the original inhabitants who first settled in the area and who called the nearby highest mountain “Tava,” the original name given by the Ute people to what is now known as Pikes Peak. At CC, we respect all peoples and strive to grow as a unique and welcoming community.

Ainsley Hess - Registrar Systems Administrator

“Their benefits are very family-friendly and my team fully supports a work-life balance. Even during my pregnancy, each person met me where I was at with kindness, grace, and compassion; upon returning from maternity leave, they welcomed me back with open arms. I'm grateful to work at a place that prioritizes my family in the way I need it to!”

Chad Schonewell - Director of Frontline Solutions & Support

“I love working at CC because we break the mold and do things differently here. It’s important to me to work at a place seeking to innovate and try new things. It truly feels like a community here; from work colleagues to interacting with teachers and students on a daily basis… it feels like home.”

Christine Green - Student Success Specialist

“It's hard not to fall in love with CC's beautiful campus and its views of Pikes Peak, leafy streets and historical buildings. However, what makes CC truly special is its people. Having worked in education for over 20 years, I can honestly say there is no place like CC. Students are driven and eager to explore the world through the liberal arts. I also work with a great team of folks who are committed to making CC a place for students from all walks of life to thrive during their time here.”

Sara Rotunno - Director, Accessibility Resources

“In 2007 I interviewed at Colorado College. I remember telling my family that even if I didn’t get the job, I wanted to be around “those people” because of the community I experienced that day. The relationships, opportunities, professional growth, and the chance to navigate meaningful and sometimes complex work have made CC an amazing place to build a career. Nineteen years later, I’m grateful to now be one of “those people” and to work alongside incredible colleagues and students every day.”

Evelina Fisher - Program Coordinator, Creativity & Innovation

Evelina Fisher

“At CC, I can be both a high-performing professional and a whole human. While the benefits package was one of the reasons I initially chose CC over other employers and job offers I had, what makes me grateful and excited to go to work every day is the relational aspect of this place and everyone I have the privilege of calling a colleague. I work with some truly incredible people whose intellects and ideas invite and inspire growth daily, not just among our students but across the community.”
