Excel at CC is Colorado College's in-house professional development program. Workshops are designed for staff and faculty learning and are primarily facilitated by our in-house talent of higher education professionals. Participants who attend Excel at CC sessions can look forward to the opportunity to learn and grow their skills, as well as the chance to engage with other members of the campus community. Excel at CC: Rethinking Allyship: Intent, Impact, and Accountability

Facilitated by Erik Quezada and Deka Spears
This workshop examines how individuals and organizations can unintentionally reproduce harm even when they are committed to inclusion and support. Participants will examine how allyship, institutional practices, and community norms can unintentionally contribute to trans exclusion and will reflect on how to move beyond good intentions towards meaningful accountability and solidarity.
