What is it? The Human Resources team coordinates CC Connect events twice a year, where new employees are invited to participate in an interactive day of activities.

We hope to see you there!!

What is it? Excel at CC is Colorado College's in-house professional development program. Workshops are designed for staff and faculty learning and are primarily facilitated by our in-house talent of higher education professionals. Participants who attend Excel at CC sessions can look forward to the opportunity to learn and grow their skills, as well as the chance to engage with other members of the campus community. We look forward to seeing you there!

One of the best ways to get connected across campus is by getting to know the people of CC. The Staff Ambassador Program pairs new employees with a colleague from another department, providing a “go-to” contact who can answer questions, make introductions, and share insights about the College’s history and culture.
Within the first few months of your start date, you will be invited to join the Ambassador Program.
To learn more about the program visit: Staff Ambassador Program
What is it? In the Loop is a joint venture between Colorado College President Dr. Manya Whitaker and Staff Council to facilitate communication and build community spirit among the staff at Colorado College. These meetings are your chance to directly connect with the President, Cabinet, and other staff members on a regular basis.
To learn more visit: In The Loop
What is it? If you sign up for the program, faculty and staff organizers, members of the Faculty Executive Committee (FEC), Staff Council (SC), and the Office of Institutional Equity and Belonging (IEB) will match you with a faculty member (if you’re staff) or a staff member (if you’re faculty), based on your interests but also with some randomness built in. You and your Building Bridges group will choose some ways to interact.
The basic package is for the staff member to visit the faculty member’s class or engage with their research/outreach in some fun way, and for the faculty member to visit the staff member’s office/workplace or engage with their work in some fun way, and for the partners to have lunch together at Rastall with lunch passes provided by the Dean of Faculty. This could be as little as 3 hours, during work hours, spread over the whole academic year.
How do I sign up to attend? This program is run on an annual basis and Staff Council send out a sign-up link typically around the start of the academic year. Keep an eye out on your email for how/when to sign up.
What is it? WOTC has traditionally been a place to find details on operational governance, policies, and events. We’ve broadened it to become a go-to resource for understanding institutional trajectory, empowering faculty and staff to confidently answer:
- What are Colorado College’s priorities right now?
- What is changing, and why?
- What progress is being made, and how is success being measured?
- Where can I learn more, provide input, or get involved?

Faculty and staff are welcome to attend, and registration is typically announced through campus emails and Today@CC.

No artistic experience is required, and lunch is provided. The workshops are designed to support well-being, creativity, and community.

The department also hosts numerous performances and events throughout the year that are free and open to the campus community.
How do I get involved? Visit the Music Department website, explore upcoming ensembles and events, or contact an instructor directly to inquire about private lessons (the Lesson Intake Survey is for students only).
