The Colorado College Choir performs once per academic year in the Fall semester.

Everyone is welcome to join without an audition! Registration is required for all members.

.25 unit of academic credit per semester is available. If desired, students will be registered for this through Banner.

Members must purchase their own music, which will be available at the first rehearsal. The Colorado College Choir, under the direction of Deborah Teske, is a large concert choir of 100+ singers composed of students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. The choir presents one major concert each year with orchestra in Shove Chapel.

The Choir's goals are the study and polished performance of works from the great choral/orchestral literature, as well as occasional unaccompanied works, and representing as wide an historical range as possible. In each concert week, additional rehearsals with orchestra are called from 7:30-10:00 p.m. The CC Choir provides an opportunity for singers, regardless of background and training, to sing with a professional orchestra and to engage in shared music making with the broader CC and Colorado Springs Community.
