Music Library

The Seay Music Library supports music--a field of many disciplines--as an academic endeavor and performing art. Located downstairs in Packard Hall, it provides access to musical works in physical and digital formats. It boasts a large collection of Western art music, as well as substantial collections of jazz, popular, world, and ethno musics. Additionally, the library supports a growing music education collection. The main room features several movable tables and chairs providing flexible study areas for individual and collaborative work. Two group listening rooms and a larger "smart" musical maker space complement students' needs in a variety of ways. Specialized research help is available.
