Students majoring in Mathematics have a diverse set of opportunities after graduation. A significant number of our students go on to graduate school in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and other STEM disciplines such as Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Physics, and Statistics. Some of our majors are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from graduate programs at Colorado State University, Emory University, Harvard University, Northeastern University, Rice University, Stanford University, Southwestern University, University of Cambridge, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Florida, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Oregon, University of South Florida, University of Washington, University of Wisconsin-Madison, The School for Ethics and Global Leadership, Tuskegee University, UCLA, The Ohio State University, Colorado College, and Washington University in St. Louis.
Several of our students are working at a variety of different companies, ranging from large firms (Goldman Sachs, Google, Lockheed Martin) and national laboratories (Los Alamos National Laboratory, National Renewable Energy Laboratory) to smaller companies and organizations, such as America Votes, Analytic Partners, Bet365, Hawk-Eye Innovations, MathWorks, Museum of Math, OfferUp, Rivet Health, Ascend Analytics, Stifel, Toad Property Management, and Weight Watchers. Students apply their analytical expertise to applications ranging from data analysis, health sciences, finance, and technology. We also have had a number of students go on to K-12 education at several public and private schools in Colorado and around the country. One recent graduate currently teaches for Teach For America.
