Lara Clemens (B.A. University of Colorado 1979, Ph.D. MIT 1984) worked in probability and stochastic analysis. After leaving the college she stayed in Colorado Springs and worked in the financial industry.
Mary Ann Beard A graduate of the college, was also hired in 1983. (Note the listing in Shorter Term Faculty IV.)
Sylvia Heubach (Diploma, University of Ulm 1986, M.S. University of Southern California 1989, Ph.D. 1993), an applied mathematician, moved to a position at the California State University in Los Angeles.
Deborah Levinson (B.S. University of Florida 1969, M.A. University of South Florida 1983, Ph.D. South Florida 1988), an applied mathematician, left the college to work in the local computer industry.
Jenny Dorrington (B.A. Bryn Mawr 1986, M.A. Northwestern 1990, Ph.D. Northwestern 1994), a topologist, entered a program in landscape architecture after teaching at the college.
Gowri Meda (B.S. Visva Bharati University 1988, M.S. Visva Bharati 1990, M.A. Bryn Mawr 1992, Ph.D. Bryn Mawr 1997), a topologist, secured a position at the Pacific University in Oregon. She returned briefly to teach a course in the summer of 2001.
Diane Hoffoss (B.S. Virginia Polytechnic Institute 1989, Ph.D. University of California at Santa Barbara 1999), a topologist, left the college to accept a post-doctoral position at Rice University.
