Green Office Certification
The Green Office Certification process is a point-based, self-assessment checklist which individuals or entire offices can use to assess their current practices and earn recognition for their efforts to reduce their daily impact on the environment. The individual lifestyle choices impact the college's sustainability goals and the wider Colorado Springs community. This program provides a framework for creating sustainable habits in the following areas: Energy, Waste, Involvement, Technology, Purchasing, and Events.

How To Get Green Office Certified
1) Download the Green Office Checklist
2) Complete the Checklist
- Complete the checklist by identifying previous and current sustainable practices. Each action earns you points, so the more that you do, the more points will be awarded toward your certification.
- Once you have completed the checklist, be sure to submit your application. A representative from the Office of Sustainability will reach out to you and go over the checklist.
4) Once verified, you will receive a "Green Office" plaque for your office.
- A wooden handmade plaque will be awarded.
