Plant Exchange

The mission of the Plant Exchange is to educate students about the many benefits of houseplants and support the propagation of houseplants throughout CC’s residential spaces. Indoor plants provide healthier air, minimize stress, reduce mental fatigue, and improve productivity. This program is designed to help make caring for plants more accessible for students who may need to leave campus for breaks throughout the school year or study abroad opportunities.

Check Out A Plant Today

This is a pilot program through the Office of Sustainability led by the Waste Team and will launch this semester for the student community this academic year. As a brand-new program, it will be launching with pop-up events throughout the year giving students opportunities to get plants for a low price which will be refunded if the plants are returned in good condition.
