Explore The Futaleufú

Dive into the ultimate Patagonia adventure in the Futaleufú Valley, where world class whitewater rafting among towering snowcapped peaks of the Southern Andes Mountains meets premiere service creating transformative engagement with one of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. On this trip we will raft the exciting Class III – V rapids of the Futaleufú River while also enjoying inflatable kayaking, fly fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking remote forests and alpine trails. At night, we unwind in riverside hot tubs, stretch with yoga, relax in the wood fired sauna, and savor gourmet meals nightly.

Futaleufú Trip Information

January 6 – 16, 2027
  •  Flying out of Colorado Springs 1/6/27 and returning 1/16/27

  • $5,000.00 (airfare included)
  • Fee Reductions Available
  • Non-refundable deposit of $1,200 due at registration.
  • Final payment due: 11/30 @ 5:00pm

  • Tuesday Sept. 22nd @ 4:30 – 5:30pm
  • Wednesday Oct. 7th @ 4:30 – 5:30pm
  • Thursday Oct. 29th @ 4:30 – 5:30pm

  • Tuesday November 17th @ 4:30 – 5:30pm
  • Tuesday December 1st @ 4:30 – 5:30pm
  • Wednesday December 16th @ 1:00pm

  • Your passport must be current and valid for no less than 6 months after trip returns from Chilé on 1/16/2027. (Exp. Date: 6/16/2027)
  • Your academic and conduct standing will be confirmed with the Dean’s office and Vice President for Student Life Office. Confirm your standing prior to registration.

FAQ

Registration fees help to offset the costs of permits, foods, equipment, and guide staff. If the registration cost for a trip would cause you financial hardship, you can apply for a reduced enrollment fee at the link below:

All group gear will be provided. You are responsible for obtaining the equipment and clothing listed. If there are items you see on the equipment list that you don't have, talk to your guides.  Many of the personal gear items may be requested during the registration process. Any equipment requested during registration is provided for the trip at no additional cost.

All personal gear will be subject to approval. If there is a pre trip meeting, please bring any personal gear you intend to use.

*Cancellations prior to the date of the pre trip meeting will receive a full refund less a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations on or after the date of the pre trip meeting will receive no refund.

For day trips with no pre trip meeting, cancellations must be made 1 business day prior to the date of the trip to receive a refund less the 10% cancellation fee.  

Any refunds will be made via the method of payment.

*Some registration items have unique cancellation policies. When this is the case, the policy will be in the registration details and on the payment page.
