Fall 2021 Move in Dates

Most recent update for Fall 2021 housing.

We are excited that so many students will be living on campus for the fall.  Our staff is looking forward to engaging students and developing tight communities where we feel at home.  As we continue to place students in rooms over the next few weeks, we would like to remind you of the fall move-in dates:

  • August 18 and 19 – ISO and NSO move in.  You should refer back to the time slot you signed up for in your housing application.
  • August 21-22: Move-in for students not fully vaccinated.  You will need an arrival COVID test, 7 days of enhanced social distancing, and then a 2nd negative test.  This timeline allows you to attend your in-person class on the 30th.
  • August 28-29 – Fully vaccinated returning students move in.  You will need a negative arrival test in order to attend your in-person class on the 30th.

We want to clarify that the college does not have a shortage of housing; of course, we do not have housing for the entire student body because some students choose to live off-campus when they are eligible to do so. We do our best to accommodate as many students as possible on campus, or in adjacent or farther supplemental housing; however, in most years we do have students who cannot be accommodated.

2021-22 Housing

In 2021-22, Colorado College will restart a residential requirement for students who are in their first- and second-year of study at CC. All students whose Colorado College ID numbers start with 20 or 21 are required to live on campus. Transfer students whose IDs start with a 20 or 21 should consult housing to determine their study year based on the number of units transferred from a post secondary institution.

Colorado College will reassess the 3-year or 2-year residential requirement for future academic years, taking Covid restrictions into consideration when making that decision.
