Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 requires institutions to disclose information about campus safety policies and procedures and to provide statistics concerning the occurrence of certain criminal offenses by designated categories. Compilation and distribution of an annual report is mandated for all institutions participating in the student financial aid programs under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965.
The 2025 Annual Security and Fire Report is now available
The report details the policies and procedures that Colorado College uses to deter and respond to crime on campus and the systems and educational components related to fire safety. You will find listings of measures Colorado College has taken to help you maintain personal safety. You will find suggestions on how you can increase your own safety, as well as information about campus law enforcement policies, campus security education and prevention programs, alcohol and drug policies, sexual assault education, vehicles for reporting, and procedures for handling reports of sexual assault.
The report contains crime statistics for the three previous years for crimes that occurred on campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. It also includes information about fire safety systems in student housing facilities on campus, as well as fire statistics for the past three years regarding actual fires that occurred in these on-campus student housing facilities.
