Dining Accommodations
As a residential college, Colorado College strongly believes that life in our residence halls is a central part of the holistic learning experience that characterizes a liberal arts education. Generally, all students live on campus for the first three years of their enrollment at CC. A significant part of the residential experience includes being on a meal plan and eating in Bon Appetit's cafes and restaurants. Please refer to the Cafe Bon Appetit website for a full description of the dining options at CC.
The Accessibility Resources staff is available to meet with students to talk about specific requests for disability-related dining accommodations (e.g., avoiding specific foods, working with Bon Appetit to request specific foods). We carefully consider each request for accommodation on a case-by-case basis. Final accommodation decisions are made by a review team that includes staff from Accessibility Resources, Housing & Residential Experience, Bon Appetit, and the Chaplain's Office.
Students who are requesting dining accommodations for disability-related reasons should follow the steps below.

Please keep the following in mind:
- Students who have received dining accommodations in the past must submit a request each academic year to be reconsidered.
- Please note that dietary preferences rarely rise to the level of disability.
- Students may be asked to work with the college's food service provider, Bon Appetit, to determine if arrangements can be made to meet dietary needs.
- To appeal a disability-related dining accommodation decision, please follow the Accessibility Resources Student Disability Appeal Policy and Procedure.
