Reporting Options and Procedures
Colorado College encourages students to report sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and other forms of sexual violence. Under CC's Gender-Based Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Violence Policy, and the general Anti-Discrimination Policy.
Confidential Resources
At CC, “confidential” means information shared with confidential resources will not be reported to the College or others. These resources help students explore options, access support, and manage the impact of misconduct on their well-being and academics. Confidential resources at CC include:

A welcoming and confidential resource for faculty, staff, and students and an informal and safe environment for discussion. They work to ensure fair processes and equitable treatment in matters of concern, to facilitate communication, and to prevent problems from escalating.
Mandated Reporters
It is important to note that college employees who are not confidential resources are mandated reporters, meaning any specific information they receive regarding a possible violation of the gender-based discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual violence policy must be passed along to the Title IX Coordinator. - Formal Legal System: If you would like to report incidents of sexual violence to the the policy, the Campus Advocate, Campus Safety, or other campus resources can arrange a meeting for initial contact. Colorado College is committed to addressing sexual violence, harassment, and gender- or sexuality-based bias to eliminate hostile environments, prevent recurrence, and address their effects. Students can access confidential resources for support and may contact the Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Coordinator if they wish to seek additional remedies or file a grievance.
