Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Colorado College by providing professional mental health services to students. The Counseling Center is available to all enrolled Colorado College students. Students seek counseling and psychiatric medication for a variety of reasons such as wanting to learn skills that can help to manage their feelings and behaviors, difficulties with interpersonal issues stemming from relationships, feelings of sadness or anxiety, and many other concerns.
The first eight sessions of counseling are completely free and there are programs available to continue counseling regardless of your financial status. There is a fee for psychiatric medication services which you can find on our Fees page. No student will be denied services due to an inability to pay. Additionally, meetings with a counselor are confidential by law and will not be released in your student record.
No concern is too small, reach out today to speak with a counselor on staff.
