Overview

There are a ton of opportunities available to explore for students who wish to go abroad during their time at CC. From Semester Long travel to blocks off campus during the year and summer, CC has a lot to offer those who want to learn more about the rest of the world. Make sure you explore all of the opportunities available.

Blocks Off-Campus

A range of CC courses are taught off-campus during each academic year. Students register for blocks off-campus during preregistration for each upcoming semester. Talk to the professor(s) teaching the course to get COI to register! See list of courses below.

How to Apply: Colorado College offers a wide and varying selection of blocks taught off-campus every year. Admission requirements for each block may be handled differently, so interested students should contact the professor or department who is offering the course for any application/interview requirements. Consent of Instructor (COI) is required for enrollment in block abroad courses and COI is given by the professor(s) teaching the course.

Once you have been accepted into the course by the professor(s) you can enroll in the course on Banner.

Following your acceptance into the block through the professor's procedures, you will complete basic forms on the Summit website for the CC Center for Global Education.

Financial Aid for AY Blocks Off-Campus: If you receive need-based aid at the College and wish to apply for an award towards the program fee for a block off-campus, there is a separate timeline for that application process (not during pre-reg). See Billing and Finances for more information, including eligibility and how to apply for aid.

Summer Blocks Off-Campus

The financial aid application for Summer 2019 will be available on Summit starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3rd. Enrollment for Summer 2019 courses opens on Banner on Monday, December 10th. Watch this page for more information and updates. See Summer Billing and Finances for more information, including eligibility and how to apply.

The cost for each off-campus summer course consists of two charges that will be billed to your account in early April: In the costs column below, (T) is Tuition and (PF) is Program Fee. Tuition for one unit of credit in Summer 2019 is $4600. Note that CC Undergrads may use their Wild Card to offset one unit of tuition.

Semester and Year Off-Campus Study

Many Colorado College students choose to study off-campus for one semester, two consecutive semesters/a full academic year, or two non-consecutive semesters. Colorado College maintains a carefully-vetted approved list of programs in a wide variety of domestic and international locations and academic disciplines that students may select from.
