Be Involved

Scholar_FamilyWES is governed by a Board of Managers that changes annually. Current officers and board members are listed in the most recent annual report (PDF).

Every WES member has many opportunities to get to know WES Scholars. WES hosts social events, fundraisers, and campus activities. Additionally, members may choose to serve as Members-at-Large on standing or ad hoc committees with the exception of the Finance and Executive Committee.

WES committees include:
• Scholarship
• Finance
• Fundraising/Project
• Future Planning (ad hoc)
• Membership
• Nominating
• Program
• Publicity

The Scholarship Committee mentors new and current scholars, supports scholar teas and picnics, and joins the Board in assembling and delivering scholar "care packages."

Email WES@ColoradoCollege.edu and indicate your interest in serving on one or more committees or note it with your membership dues check.

WES members enjoy the camaraderie of their peers - people who are dedicated to helping Colorado College students complete their educations - as well as WES Scholars, who are pursuing a wide range of educational paths. Dues are $50 for general membership; additional levels are available.

WES members enjoy associating with WES Scholars at events throughout the year. They may take part in seasonal programs, a craft fair, and the annual Historic Van Briggle Pottery Festival and Tour.
