Assessment at CC
Programmatic Assessment at Colorado College is carried out by departments, interdisciplinary programs, and individual faculty members teaching general education courses, and is reviewed by the Assessment Committee. In addition to reviewing bi-annual assessment reports, the committee offers a wide variety of educational programs on assessment and consults with individual faculty members, departments, and interdisciplinary programs on an as-needed basis to support assessment development and improvement.
The members of the 2026-2027 Assessment Committee are:

- Jiun Bang, Political Science (liaison to Anthropology, Asian Studies, Comparative Literature, Economics & Business, Feminist & Gender Studies, History, Race, Ethnicity, & Migration Studies, Sociology, and Theatre & Dance)
- Bill Davis, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, and Russian Studies (liaison to Art, Classics, English, Film & Media Studies, French, German, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Russian, and Spanish & Portuguese)
- Andrea Bruder, Associate Dean of the Faculty; Mathematics and Computer Science
- Shannon Claxton, Director of Academic Assessment, Accreditation, and Program Evaluation
