Please be advised that Long Building Technologies will be onsite in East Campus from September 24 through October 9, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., to install new controllers on the heat pumps. Controllers will be installed one heat pump at a time, with each unit tested to ensure full functionality before work proceeds to the next heat pump. During the installation, occupants may experience intermittent loss of heating and/or cooling as individual heat pumps are taken offline. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this work is completed.

Olin Hall |
Please be advised that, as part of the planning and design process for the New Science Building Project, a geotechnical survey crew will be conducting soil test borings around Olin Hall to evaluate subsurface conditions. Work Schedule:
Test borings will be conducted on the east, west, and south sides of Olin Hall. Survey and drilling crews will access the work areas from Armstrong Lot, areas north of Barnes Science Center, and Nevada Avenue. Community members may notice drilling equipment and support vehicles, survey stakes and utility markings, and temporary activity around the designated work areas. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.

*****ON HOLD***** Heating system repairs will replace the underground central heating system piping between Armstrong and Worner. Excavation will take place on the north side of Armstrong along the sidewalk of Cascade Ave.

Advising Hub 1014 N Weber |
Please be advised that the front entrance to the Advising Hub at 1014 N. Weber will be inaccessible from September 25 through October 9 while the CC Carpentry Shop removes and replaces the front porch stairs and handrail. During this work, occupants and visitors may experience noise and increased foot traffic in the area. The work area has been sectioned off with caution tape. Please use the back entrance on the west side of the building during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this work is completed.

East Campus Resident Buildings |
We would like to provide an update on the ongoing efforts to restore full functionality to the East Campus heating and cooling system. At this time, all systems other than the heating and cooling system have been restored and are fully functional. Our teams are continuing to work diligently to restore full functionality to the heating and cooling system as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete these repairs. Additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available. The heating system in Armstrong Hall is still out of service due to emergency repairs to the building’s hot water system. Repairs are ongoing, and full heating service has not yet been restored.
