Please be advised that repairs to the flooring and landings at the west side entrance of the 1st floor of Palmer Hall will take place Tuesday, August 18, through Thursday, August 20.

There may be construction noise and glue odors in the area during the work. Please use caution when entering and exiting through this area.

Cascade Ave by Armstrong

Heating system repairs will replace the underground central heating system piping between Armstrong and Worner.

Excavation will take place on the north side of Armstrong along the sidewalk  of Cascade Ave.

Please expect construction equipment, concrete trucks, noise, and general construction activity in the area during this work.

FAC

Please be advised that Monument Roofing is currently performing a roofing project at the Fine Arts Center (FAC). This work is necessary to maintain the integrity of the building and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

The project is anticipated to continue through mid September. We will continue to share updates throughout the duration of the project as information becomes available.

What to Expect:
• Roofing activity in designated areas around the building
• Traffic control on West Dale Street for trucking and crane activity
• Intermittent noise and minor disruptions during work hours, approximately 5:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Temporary restrictions to some entrances, walkways, or parking areas for safety purposes

Safety Reminders:
• Please follow all posted signage and instructions from construction personnel
• Avoid restricted areas and remain clear of work zones
• Report any safety concerns to Facilities immediately

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important project. Our goal is to minimize disruptions while ensuring the work is completed safely and efficiently.

Please be aware that barricades have been placed along the south side of Schlessman Pool due to a potential overhead hazard. The barricades are in place to prevent individuals from walking or sitting in this area.

The area will remain barricaded until further notice.

Spencer Center

Please be advised that the AC-5 unit serving portions of Spencer Center is currently out of service due to a faulty motherboard.

The following areas may experience reduced or no cooling until repairs are completed: Rooms 301 North, 301 South, 301B, 314, 325, 401, 402, 404, and 406.

Replacement parts have been ordered, and repairs will be completed as soon as they are received.

East Campus Resident Buildings

We would like to provide an update on the ongoing efforts to restore full functionality to the East Campus heating and cooling system.

At this time, all systems other than the heating and cooling system have been restored and are fully functional. Our teams are continuing to work diligently to restore full functionality to the heating and cooling system as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete these repairs. Additional updates will be shared as more information becomes available.

The heating system in Armstrong Hall is still out of service due to emergency repairs to the building’s hot water system.

Repairs are ongoing, and full heating service has not yet been restored.
