Due to a leak in the cooling system at Robson, air drying equipment has been placed in the hallway and Room 304 on the Club Level, as well as the women’s restroom on the Main Concourse. First Onsite is onsite completing the remediation work. Occupants can expect to see air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment in the affected areas. Please use caution around the equipment and avoid disturbing it, as it is essential to the drying process. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this work is completed.

9/12 |
Cache La Poudre between Cascade Ave and Tejon St |
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Colorado Springs Utilities will excavate the roadway on Cache La Poudre Street between Cascade Avenue and Tejon Street to investigate a water main leak and determine the scope of the required repairs. Work will take place from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed with limited access in the area. There will be no water service interruption on September 12. The work being performed is strictly investigative and is intended to identify the cause of the leak and the materials needed to complete the permanent repair. The roadway will be temporarily restored and reopened on Saturday evening to allow normal traffic flow during the following week. Upcoming Water Main Repair The permanent water main repair is currently scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026. This repair will require a planned water shutdown and service interruption for affected areas. Specific details regarding the outage, impacted buildings, and expected duration will be communicated in advance as plans are finalized. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with Colorado Springs Utilities to address this issue and complete the necessary repairs to maintain reliable campus infrastructure. Cascade Ave by Armstrong |
*****ON HOLD***** Heating system repairs will replace the underground central heating system piping between Armstrong and Worner. Excavation will take place on the north side of Armstrong along the sidewalk of Cascade Ave.
Please expect construction equipment, concrete trucks, noise, and general construction activity in the area during this work.

Please be advised that Monument Roofing is currently performing a roofing project at the Fine Arts Center (FAC). This work is necessary to maintain the integrity of the building and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. The project is anticipated to continue through mid September. Please be advised that the AC-5 unit serving portions of Spencer Center is currently out of service due to a faulty motherboard. The following areas may experience reduced or no cooling until repairs are completed: Rooms 301 North, 301 South, 301B, 314, 325, 401, 402, 404, and 406. Replacement parts have been ordered, and repairs will be completed as soon as they are received. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this issue is being addressed.

East Campus Resident Buildings |
We would like to provide an update on the ongoing efforts to restore full functionality to the East Campus heating and cooling system. At this time, all systems other than the heating and cooling system have been restored and are fully functional. Our teams are continuing to work diligently to restore full functionality to the heating and cooling system as quickly as possible. The heating system in Armstrong Hall is still out of service due to emergency repairs to the building’s hot water system. Repairs are ongoing, and full heating service has not yet been restored.
