El Diente |
EHS responded to a reported flood in Unit #103 and identified a severe sewage backup originating from the kitchen sink. The incident impacted the entire first floor of the unit. Immediate mitigation actions are underway and include:
Due to the nature of this Category 3 (black water) intrusion, all drywall on the first floor is being removed to a 4-foot level, along with affected basement ceiling materials. All first-floor contents, including cabinetry, furniture, carpet, and major appliances, are considered a total loss and will be disposed of. Access to the second floor is currently restricted to prevent cross-contamination. Unit #103 will remain offline indefinitely. There is no estimated timeline for return to service at this time. Further updates will be provided as remediation progresses. Thank you for your cooperation in limiting access to the space.
