Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention

As a requirement of Federal Drug-Free Schools and Campuses regulations, Colorado College issues a written drug and alcohol abuse policy to all students, staff, and faculty on an annual basis.  Topics include state and federal laws,  sanctions for violations, health risks of use, abuse prevention and treatment. Vaccination Policies and Immunization Requirements
The college requires matriculating students to provide proof of two measles vaccinations received after the age of 12 months old, verification of a meningitis vaccine or signed waiver (mandated by Colorado state law), and a recent TB test (within six months of starting classes).  Please see the information and forms required by Boettcher Health Center here

For students travelling abroad, please see the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) country specific recommended immunizations.


Campus Security Policies, Crime Statistics, Crime Log & Fire Safety

Annually, the college prepares the Annual Security Report (ASR), a which provides information campus safety policies and procedures and provides statistics concerning the occurrence of certain criminal offenses by designated categories. This report also includes the Fire Safety Report.
