Thank you for starting off the semester together with a collaborative and celebratory Spring Conference 2018. It was wonderful to have 340 faculty and staff together; the energy and ideas you brought to this year's conference generate momentum as we move into the second half of the year.

It was exciting to celebrate the winners of our second annual President's Leadership Awards: Sandi Wong, winner of the Victor Nelson-Cisneros Award for Diversity and Inclusion; Mark Ferguson and Michael Brubaker, who were awarded the Glenn Brooks Award for Courage and Innovation; and the members of Team Tutt, winner of the Jane Cauvel Award for Collaboration and Community-Building. Congratulations as well to all who were nominated and many thanks to those who took the time to submit nominations to recognize your colleagues.
