Registration and Permit Information

Annual Permits:

  • Colorado College requires the registration of any motor vehicle parking on any property owned or leased by the College, including vehicles, motorcycles, Gem-carts, mopeds, scooters, etc.
  • The permit fee is non-refundable.
  • Vehicle information (make, model, color, license plate, and state) is required.
  • Permits require a full payment if purchased with credit card, cash, or check, or you may sign up for monthly payments through payroll deductions or a payment plan through the parking office. If a payment plan is selected, missing a payment will result in revocation of parking privileges.
  • Colorado College limits parking registrations to passenger classed vehicles and light duty pick–up trucks, that have not been modified, with an unladen weight of no more than 5,500 lbs.
  • Any repairs or maintenance to motor vehicles are strictly prohibited on Colorado College’s property. Colorado College is not responsible for any injuries sustained, or damage to a vehicle while on campus.
  • Permit holders of any vehicle left on campus overnight shall make arrangements prior to leaving campus for someone to move their vehicle in the event of a campus parking emergency including parking lot closures, maintenance, or other construction. Failure to do so may result in towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense. This includes over Block Break and other college breaks.
  • First year students are not eligible to park on campus. Under extenuating circumstances, first years may be eligible to apply. Gaining an exception does not guarantee a parking permit on campus. Permits are given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Only vehicles with registered license plates may use Colorado College Parking lots. Any parked vehicle not registered through the Parking Office will be subject to a parking citation.
  • Students may register 1 vehicle.
  • Faculty and Staff may register up to 3 vehicles per permit, but a citation will be issued if more than one vehicle, registered to the same permit, is parked on the Colorado College Campus at the same time.
