Registration and Permit Information
Annual Lot Permits:
- As a reminder, Colorado College does not allow first-year students to have a car on campus. Students requesting disability-related parking consideration should contact Accessibility Resources at accessibilityresources@coloradocollege.edu.
- Permits are a scarce resource and given on a first-come, first-serve basis, until gone.
- Registering for a permit does not mean you will receive a permit.
- You will not be eligible for a permit if you have any outstanding citations.
- Permits can not be transferred/sold to anyone else.
- Vehicle information (make, model, color, license plate, and state) is required upon registration.
- Students may register 1 vehicle.
- Faculty and Staff may register 1 vehicle per permit, but a citation will be issued if more than one vehicle, registered to the same permit, is parked on the Colorado College Campus at the same time.
- The permit fee is non-refundable.
- Permits require a full payment if purchased with credit card, cash, or check, or you may sign up for monthly payroll deductions.
- Colorado College requires the registration of any motor vehicle parking on any property owned or leased by the College, including vehicles, motorcycles, Gem-carts, mopeds, scooters, etc. Even if you do not receive a permit.
- Colorado College limits parking registrations to passenger classed vehicles and light duty pick–up trucks, that have not been modified, with an unladen weight of no more than 5,500 lbs.
- Only vehicles with registered license plates may use Colorado College Parking surface lots. Any parked vehicle not registered through the Parking Office will be subject to a parking citation.
What if I Did Not Receive a Parking Permit?
Due to the scarcity of parking options on and around campus, not everyone will receive a parking permit. We do encourage usage of the Metro shuttle bus or some nearby parking alternatives that can be viewed here.
