The lower level of Shove Chapel houses Sacred Grounds, which hosts spiritual life communities at CC, student support groups, community 12-step groups, and the Sacred Grounds Tea House.
Sacred Grounds Tea House is a student-led late-night gathering space that creates a warm, welcoming environment for the CC community from 9pm-1am. Open mic nights performances, poetry readings and creative social gatherings appeal to the CC community. Sacred Grounds is a sub-free venue and a student study space.

Sacred Grounds Gets a New Look
Starting in May, we striped Sacred Grounds down to the bare bones and are rebuilding it from the ground up. The new Sacred Grounds will have the same relaxed, cozy feel as before, with added spaces for conversation, a shiny new kitchen, a vintage community gathering table and a high-tech AV system. Gone are the boxy levels and fence-like railings. In their place you will find a whole new vibe that suggests an inviting sense of flow. Come experience the "new" Sacred Grounds.
