Graduate Student Travel Award
Thanks to the generous support of the the American Musicological Society (AMS), the Public Musicology conference on Billy Joel at Colorado College will provide travel awards of at least $200 to a limited number of graduate students to defray the costs of attending the proceedings in Colorado Springs. Additionally, conference registration fees will be waived and some meals will be provided to those awarded funding.
Preference will be given to students with a stated interest in and/or demonstrated commitment to public musicology. To apply, please complete and submit the online application before September 1.
The Graduate Student Travel Award Application Form will ask for your name, email, institution, year in school, and a brief statement (150 words) about your personal/professional interests in attending.
Winners will be contacted by September 15th.
