The Rag
The Rag (fka The Monthly Rag) is a student publication sponsored by the Feminist & Gender Studies Department that publishes feminist analyses and ideas. Along with posting print editions on campus, we began publishing digital editions on Dr. Heidi R. Lewis' website during the 2015-16 AY. Those editions are now available below, and previous editions may be accessed via the Colorado College archive.
2025 - 2026
The Fall 2025 edition was edited by Mila Naumovska (History/Political Science '26). The Spring 2026 edition was edited by Mila Naumovska and Kendall Reynolds (Feminist & Gender Studies '26).
2024 - 2025
The following editions were edited by Auna McConnaughey (Feminist and Gender Studies '25) with support from junior editor Hero Clinemills ('28).
2023 - 2024
The following editions were edited by Kylie Haney (Political Science '24) with support from the junior editor Auna McConnaughey (Feminist and Gender Studies '25), and designed by Kalea Daniels (Art: Art Studio '24).
2022 - 2023
The following editions were edited by Misbah Lakhani (Feminist & Gender Studies '24) with support from assistant to the editor Samantha Lorca (Comparative Literature '24).
2021 - 2022
The following editions were edited by Eileen Huang (Feminist & Gender Studies '22) with support from content creators Sage Reynolds (Feminist & Gender Studies '22) and Anya Quesnel (Feminist & Gender Studies Minor '23).
2020 - 2021
Due to the pandemic, print editions of The Monthly Rag were suspended. Digital editions, which primarily focused on spotlights of the program's graduating majors and minors, were created by Dr. Heidi R. Lewis, Associate Professor of Feminist & Gender Studies.
