How we will do it –
Changes in several of these areas for action are already underway. For others, action and working groups, existing committees, and/or senior leaders will take the lead, depending on the nature of the proposal.
Because collaboration is key to the implementation process, other relevant individuals and groups will also be involved.
HIGHER ED CHALLENGE – LOOKING WAY AHEAD
How do we tackle major challenges, both predictable and not predictable? What can we do, and how do we convince ourselves to do it?
These groups will ask, “How big can we go?” What would “big” be? And “What can we (CC) do while staying true to our mission and our shared values?
They will also show the gravity and urgency of these challenges and convey that the status quo is more dangerous than change.
Target deadline for recommendations – February 2024
Coalitions will consist of faculty, staff, students, and cabinet members.
