Regensburg

The exchange program with the relatively new University of Regensburg has been in existence since the mid 1960s. It brings to Colorado College a student from that university and allows a Colorado College student a scholarship for one year of study at Regensburg. Credits for the study abroad are transferable to the home institution. The scholarship consists of a monthly stipend of approximately 500 Euro to defray expenses for room, board, and German health insurance.

Regensburg is located in the state of Bavaria in Southern Germany. Its geographic location allows easy access to Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, and all of Southern Europe. The contact person for this program in Regensburg is Ms. Christine Betzner in the Akademisches Auslandsamt at the university.
