Colorado College Donor Recognition Societies
We appreciate every donor.
One way we show that your support matters is through giving societies, such as The President's Circle, the 1874 Society, Barnes Society, and the William Jackson Palmer Founders Society.
William Jackson Palmer Founders Society was created in 2002 to honor Colorado College benefactors whose lifetime gifts total or exceed $1 million.
The Barnes Society, established in 1987, honors those who have made a bequest commitment at any level for Colorado College in their estate plans.
The Society is named for Chemistry Professor Otis A. Barnes and his wife, Margaret Tyson Barnes '27, in recognition of their substantial generosity to the college through their estate plan. The Legacy Society recognizes Barnes Society members who have provided for the college with a minimum gift of $100,000.
The President's Circle is made up of leaders who are committed to providing President Tiefenthaler with well over $1,000,000 of available funds. These funds help realize some of the college's most important priorities such as financial aid and faculty development.

Named for the year Colorado College was founded, the 1874 Society is a group of alumni, parents, and friends who demonstrate their commitment to CC by giving $1,874 (or more) annually.
