C-Space

C-Space was designed by students as a place where everyone can explore creativity in a welcoming environment. The space provides a wide range of building, prototyping, and art materials, and promotes creative freedom through playful, processed-oriented exploration, while counteracting perfectionism and overconcern with outcome. Last fall, this campus resource had over 700 visitors. The Catalyst featured C-Space in their September 5, 2025 issue, calling the space a gem. To learn more and get access, contact Evelina Fisher.

What can you do in C-Space?

In C-Space, you can create, play, and iterate with materials such as K'NEX® construction toys, LEGO®, Momentix® chain reaction toys, wood cubes, beads, buttons, fabrics, yarn, thread, jewelry wire, acrylic paints, watercolors, charcoals, pastels, collage papers and Mod Podge®, gelli prints, and sound-making instruments. In the little library corner, you can explore books on creativity, games, and sand play. You can also come to events in C-Space. We hold drop-in sessions every second Monday of the block from 3-4 p.m. Every second Friday from 2-3:30 p.m., we have workshops for students.

Where is C-Space?

C-Space is located at 232 E. Cache La Poudre St. To get Gold Card access, cardholders first need to tour the space and complete a participation waiver. During the fall and spring semesters, tours are held every Monday at 4 p.m. Register to let us know that you are coming. If the tour times do not work with your schedule, contact Evelina Fisher to set up an alternative time.
