cSpace

cSpace is a welcoming, student-designed space in which members of the CC community (students, faculty, and staff) can explore creativity in a process-based way; without pressure to produce something specific. The space encourages experimentation, prototyping, and playfulness.

What can you do in cSpace?

In cSpace, you can create and connect (with yourself and others) using a wide variety of materials such as paint (watercolor, acrylic), charcoals, pastels, card and collage supplies (many types of paper, print media, books, scraps, and Mod Podge), a print-making station, stamps and ink, glue, yarn, fabrics, origami paper, and music and sound-making instruments. The space also features Legos, building blocks, Hakoniwa sandplay, playdoh, and puzzles. Faculty can reserve the space to teach classes that benefit from access to these materials.

What do students say about cSpace?

"It's a playground of paint, Legos, music, and so much more."

"In cSpace you can learn to trust your instincts and the creative process in a safe space."

"There are free supplies for almost any creative endeavor, and it's a quiet underground study space too."

"Come to cSpace to grow creatively, craft with friends, and connect with others."
