Greetings CC Classes of '70, '71 and '72, hangers-on and significant others,
It's now been 54, 55 or 56 years since we received our CC diplomas, launching us into a world of great change and unknown futures. (NOTE: This letter has NOT been written by AI.)
Many of us remember The Doors at Homecoming, a still functioning football team, and Dionysus in '69 and Dick Gregory at the Violence Symposium. The Colorado Springs elders went ballistic over that symposium. President Lew Worner addressed the campus community to a packed Armstrong Hall, defending the college and launching it on a new, independent trajectory that led to the Block Plan, still the major academic focus of the college today.
During our matriculation — would AI use this word? — we all had great professors who changed our lives and some who lulled us to sleep. And we also made great, lasting friends.
Thus, we hope you will join us at the "55th" Reunion of the Classes of '70, '71, and '72 this October 9-11 to celebrate friendship and all that Colorado College has meant to us — and many others — over this last more than half-century.
