Fall Open House

Ready to see CC up close before you decide? Fall Open House is our most immersive visit experience—built especially for high school seniors. It’s a full day on campus where you’ll get to know our plan, our place, and our perspective: tour campus, sit in Block Plan-style classes, grab lunch with current students, and pick a professor’s brain.

Experience a full day as a Tiger. Reserve your spot.

I am far more interested in CC now because of what I saw and the people I met. But my favorite part was how willing everyone was to share info and answer questions. Everyone was extremely kind!

My favorite part of FOH was the mock class, because that really showed me what a small, intimate class size would be like and the way the professors would interact with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

A daily visit gives you the basics: a 45-minute info session and a one-hour campus tour, about two hours total. It’s a great option most days of the year.

Fall Open House gives you the full experience: that same info session and tour, plus a tips-on-applying session, a meal in our dining hall, a Block Plan-style class, a live Q&A with a student panel, time with faculty and financial aid staff, and more. Expect to spend the whole day on campus—and don’t be surprised if you leave with CC as your top choice.

Nope! Fall Open House is free, just like our admission application. Show up ready to explore CC, ask questions, and enjoy brunch on us.

Fall Open House is designed with high school seniors in mind. We welcome parents and guests too! Most sessions will be attended by both students and their guests, but we do have some programming designed specifically for parents/guests.

Depending on the year, we host one or two Fall Open Houses in September and/or October. This years Fall Open House will be on Sunday, Oct. 4.

We typically announce Fall Open House dates in late spring and open registration over the summer. Once it opens, don’t wait too long: registration closes four days before the event, or once we hit capacity—whichever comes first.

You came all this way—might as well stick around a bit. Whether you’re after a good meal, a trail to hike, or a local shop worth supporting, there’s plenty to explore just beyond campus. Check out our visitor's guide for our full list of favorites. And remember, we sit at 6,035 feet—so drink more water than you’re used to.

We’ve got an entire team of (really friendly) people ready to answer all your questions. Just send us an email at admission@coloradocollege.edu. We’re excited to chat soon.

The whole day was very immersive and informative. It was helpful to have so many admission staff and students to talk with.
