Do I have to pre-register for Homecoming and Family Weekend?
You will save time and money if you register in advance of your arrival on campus. We do our best to accommodate on-site registrations but cannot guarantee a seat or a meal unless you have registered by Sept. 25, 2022.
Will onsite registration be available?
We do our best to accommodate on-site registrations but cannot guarantee a seat or a meal unless you have registered by Sept. 25, 2022. Please note there will also be an additional fee for all onsite registrations.
Why is there a registration fee?
There is a $10/household registration fee for Homecoming and Reunion, in addition to the individual activity fees for events you select. This covers the hidden costs of the weekend, including tents, tables, chairs, and staffing. More than 100 Colorado College staff make every effort for all events to be as well planned as possible. To that end, it helps us immensely when you register and pay the requested fees. Family Weekend registration is built as a single fee which also helps cover these costs.
I've registered, now what?
Upon arrival on campus, all alumni, parents, families, and guests should check in at Registration Central at Charles L. Tutt Library, located at 1021 N. Cascade Ave., to receive an official Homecoming and Family Weekend name tag and a final schedule with event confirmation.
Registration Central is open:
Friday, Oct. 7
9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 8
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
*If your first event is on Thursday, please go directly to your event. Check-in at registration on Friday. If you arrive on Friday after registration has closed, go directly to your event and check in at registration on Saturday.
Is the campus accessible?
All campus buildings being used for events are accessible. Please see the Campus Accessibility Guide for additional information on campus accessibility features. Golf carts will be available throughout Homecoming and Family Weekend to provide participants transportation around campus. To request a disability-related accommodation, please contact the Office of Alumni and Family Relations by emailing homecoming@coloradocollege.edu by Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.
Can I request special meals because of dietary restrictions?
Please note on your registration form if you have dietary restrictions we need to accommodate.
What is the attire for the weekend?
Attire for the weekend is casual during the day. Some dinner locations, primarily off campus, are more formal. Contact the Office of Alumni and Family Relations if you have questions about a specific event. This is October in Colorado, which can mean anything from the sun and 70 degrees to rain or snow!
What hotels do you recommend?
Colorado College has room blocks at The Antlers, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place, and Springhill Suites by Marriott in downtown Colorado Springs. Please see the Hotel Room Blocks page for more details.
Where can I park during Homecoming and Family Weekend?
During Homecoming and Family Weekend, all campus parking lots are closed. Limited street parking is available and is part of the City of Colorado Springs Parking System. Please pay parking fees and obey all city parking regulations when parking on city streets. Limited ADA/accessible parking is available on campus. Do you provide a shuttle service to campus?

The shuttle will pick up guests at the main entrance of the Antlers and Mining Exchange hotels and drop them off at the Worner Campus Center. Can I visit my old dorm room?
Alumni are welcome to explore campus and reminisce about their college days. However, please respect that your old dorm room is now the private room of a current student.
