Funding Opportunities: Endowed Lecture Funds

The Academic Events Committee oversees two donor-endowed funds that can be used to support speaking events. If you would like to apply for funding for a speaker (whether or not as a First Monday speaker), please review the fund purposes and criteria below and submit your request through the endowed lecture funds application form.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. If you have questions about the funds or the application form, please contact the Academic Events Committee at AEC@coloradocollege.edu


 

William Jovanovich Lecture for Public Affairs

The William Jovanovich Lecture for Public Affairs fund brings to Colorado College political leaders, writers, and educators known for their contributions to society in thought and action, and has provided a forum for discussion of major public issues.

Demarest Lloyd Endowed Lecture in Humanities

The primary purpose of the Demarest Lloyd Endowed Lecture in Humanities is to focus on poetry and themes in literature and to bring to campus truly distinguished poets and writers who would inspire our students.

Post-Event Report

A post-event report, which should include a minimum of one photo, is due one week following your event. This report will be shared with the donors of the applicable fund. Please download and complete the form and send it to AEC@coloradocollege.edu
