September 26, 3:00 –4:30 Multiple Narratives: Get to know others as you find stories, solve problems, and even think through thesis statements and assignments. Hone your creative thinking by finding unexpected connections between your lived experiences and images, then use narrative to explore the details.

October 3, 3:00–4:30 Meeting your muse: Meeting Your Muse helps students access their own creative resources and bond with each other. After deconstructing the conventional image of the muse, students work in pairs to answer questions that lead to the discovery of a “muse” of their own. They then make a tangible representation of the muse to help them create generative conditions for themselves in a variety of circumstances.
