The 2025 Department of Defense Warrior Games at CC

July 18 – 26
Get ready to welcome more than 200 wounded, ill, and injured military athletes to campus for nine days in July as they compete in this annual adaptive sports competition. These courageous active duty and recently retired service members are embracing adaptive sports as a powerful step in their journey of healing, resilience, and recovery.
CC is proud to be the main venue for the 15th anniversary of the games as they return to Colorado Springs for the first time since 2018.
The Games are free and open to the public! Get excited Tiger community!
What to Know

- What: Powerlifting, cycling, wheelchair basketball, rowing, wheelchair rugby, track & field, archery, sitting volleyball, and swimming. Schedule of events/games.
- Who: Teams include Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and US Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
- Where: Ed Robson Arena, Reid Gym, Cutler Quad (“Warrior Games Plaza”), Washburn Field, Autrey Field, Schlessman Pool, and Cascade Avenue for cycling races on July 19 (between Cache La Poudre and Boulder Streets). See the CC Campus Map and the Campus Accessibility Guide.

Here’s How to Participate

- Interested in volunteering at the games? Click here to sign up to volunteer!
Every volunteer who registers will be emailed in the coming weeks communicating available shifts. Some roles require the same individual to apply for multiple shifts. Some shifts will require training that will be available closer to the event.
- Get excited for CC Day at the Games! Wear your CC gold gear, bring your families, and enjoy! Want to lend a hand and volunteer on CC Day? We’ll update this page with information and a registration link, so check back often!
How will the Games Impact Campus?

- Expect a lively campus filled with activity Friday, July 18 through Saturday, July 26.
- Parking lots will be affected (C2 Armstrong Lot closed)
- Street access will be limited/closed on July 19: Cascade Avenue (between Cache La Poudre and Boulder Streets) and E. Dale St. (south of Cornerstone Arts Center).
- Anyone entering Worner Campus Center will need to go through either open gates or metal detectors.
- Dining hall impacted: Rastall will be open for Warrior Games participants and staff, along with the public. The modified dining times are:
5:30 - 9:00 a.m.11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.4:30 - 8:00 p.m. - Drop-off and pick-up for Children’s Center may look different (tents set up on asphalt near pick-up area).
