Tutt Library Renovation

CC is committed to building a contemporary library that magnifies the college's considerable strengths.

Built in 1962, Tutt Library pre-dates the Block Plan and is increasingly unable to meet the evolving needs of students and faculty. A renovated and modernized library will enhance the quality and distinctiveness of the CC experience. Through the support of alumni and friends of the college, CC will realize the $45 million library renovation, which will require $25 million in private funds.

As of Dec. 31, 2016, $15.7 million has been raised for the project, including $7 million in foundation grants — $5 million from Inasmuch Foundation and $2 million from the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation.
