She comes to Colorado College after completing her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree and working in college health promotion at the University at Albany in New York for 4 years. Prior to that, she worked in practice-based public health in Colorado communities. These experiences focused on substance use and HPV prevention in Colorado youth through engaging key stakeholders, analyzing youth data, implementing evidence-based programs and practices, and evaluating outcomes. She utilizes the social ecological model when considering college health and wellbeing and believes health promotion and prevention must be impacted from each level of the model. She is a mixed-method researcher who looked at the impact of digital health literacy on COVID-19 behaviors in a college student population for her dissertation.
