Marianne Stoller

Colorado College Professor Emerita of Anthropology Marianne Stoller, who retired in 1998, passed away Sunday, December 13th, 2015. She served as chair of CC's Anthropology Department twice throughout her career, as well as directing the college's Southwest Studies summer institutes. Marianne's research interests included social anthropology, ethnography, ethnoanthropology, art and comparative aesthetics, North America, and Southwest Native Americans and Latinos. She will be greatly missed by the department, her friends and family, her students and her peers.
