Mae Eskenazi ('19) Accepted into MFA Program

Feminist & Gender Studies is proud to announce Mae Eskenazi (Feminist & Gender Studies '19) was recently accepted into the Master of Fine Arts Program at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design.

This two-year program "is focused on the professional development of studio artists. Through studio work, seminar courses, international residency opportunities and interactions with vital working artists, the program provides an open intellectual framework to foster critical awareness and independent methods of artistic research. Students extend their conceptual strategies while inventing and then refining their own hybridized forms of art making methods." Further since the program "encourages exploration, extending studies into other disciplines within the Weitzman School and the university-at-large," Mae will also be collaborating with Center for Experimental Ethnography, which "was founded in 2018 to promote multi-modal research practices as both method and theory, integral dimensions of scholarly research."

Congratulations, Mae! We are so proud to know you!
