CC Alumni Propel Fundraising Success
The college raises $42.2 million with the most alumni donors in eight years
Colorado College announced July 19 that $42.2 million in cash, pledges, and estate commitments were received during its 2016 fiscal year, which concluded on June 30. During the year 6,005 alumni gave to the college, the most since 2008. The total raised bests last year’s $37.1 million and 5,755 alumni. Read more.

CC's Priority Projects
In the college's strategic plan, The Colorado College Plan: Building on the Block, recommendations were made to provide additional support for maximizing the capability of the Block Plan and enhancing CC’s distinctive place of learning. From those recommendations, several priorities emerged, including the renovation of Tutt Library, increased investment in student scholarships, and the creation of an innovation institute.
CC Receives $8.5 Million for Innovation
Colorado College has received an anonymous $8.5 million commitment that will provide support for the development of an innovation program, including funds for an innovation facility and a chaired professorship in innovation.
Library Renovation Garners $7 Million in Foundation Grants
Colorado College has received grants of $5 million from Inasmuch Foundation and $2 million from the Helen K. and Arthur E. Johnson Foundation to support the renovation and expansion of the college’s library.
