Mike Ukropina is a business leader with over 30 years’ experience leading complex, global consumer packaging manufacturing businesses. Most recently, Mike was the CEO of Five Star Holding for 7 years, a Houston TX-based flexible packaging manufacturer and an innovator in recycled-content packaging for leading pet food & animal nutrition, food, beverage, household products companies. Before that Mike was SVP of Graphic Packaging's North American Consumer Packaging business, and prior to that lead businesses with international manufacturing networks in Latin America, Asia and Europe for International Paper. Mike is on the Board of Stanton Home of Great Barrington, MA a non-profit organization who partners with adults with diverse abilities to actively pursue healthy, self-determined lives. At Colorado College, Mike graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Political Economy (CC'89) and was offensive captain of the CC football team. Mike earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1995. Mike lives in Egremont, MA and is married to Kimberley Felton (CC'91) and has three children: Kate, Mitchell (CC'20) and Alexandra (CC'27).
