Jenna Hunt is a Colorado-based harpist known for her versatility and intense musical interpretation. Equally at home in classical, jazz, and contemporary styles, she brings a modern, adaptable approach to the harp that resonates across concert halls, weddings, and collaborative settings.
Jenna earned her bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Northern Colorado and her master’s degree in Harp Performance from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music. While at Lamont, she was a finalist in the university’s concerto competition, performing the final movement of Ginastera’s Harp Concerto. She has studied with renowned harpists including Ann Marie Liss, Courtney Hershey-Bress, Grace Browning, and Kathy Bundock-Moore.
As an orchestral and ensemble musician, Jenna has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, and the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. Recent highlights include being featured in a performance of Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro as part of the 2025 Colorado College Summer Music Festival Faculty Artist Series, as well as performing the Colorado premiere of Spring Rain for Harp and Wind Ensemble by Michael Gryc with the Colorado Wind Ensemble in 2025.
In addition to her performance career, Jenna is an active educator, maintaining a private harp studio and serving on faculty as harp instructor at Colorado College, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Pikes Peak State College. She is also a sought-after wedding harpist throughout Colorado’s Front Range and Rocky Mountains.
