Since 2006, Kate Holbrook has served in the chaplain's office at Colorado College. Educated at a Quaker School, Bates College (B.A.) and Pacific School of Religion (MDiv/MA), Kate continues to value holistic education. Her areas of academic interest include the study of pilgrimage, art & spiritual practice, and the peace process in Northern Ireland. Kate is passionate about integrating contemplative practices into higher education, religious pluralism, intentional communities, and visiting wild rugged coastlines and the New Mexico desert. For renewal, Kate enjoys Scottish country dancing, collage making, adventure, poetry, and hiking.
