Whitney Hampson comes to Colorado College from the world of social work. After growing up in Colorado Springs, Whitney attended the Robert E. Cook Honors College at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a major in history and minors in theater and gender studies. They landed in Portland, Oregon a few years later and entered the field of disability services, working in direct support, case management, and non-profit administration at a small community inclusion program for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities for many years. Whitney returned to Colorado Springs in 2024 to be closer to family and is thrilled to be joining the ID House and the team at Colorado College. They look forward to becoming a part of a community dedicated to learning, service, and discovery. In their spare time, Whitney enjoys making collages and cuddling with their cat.
