Music Library

Having joined the Albert Seay Library of Music and Art in 2001, Dave Dymek has served in a variety of capacities during his tenure as Music Circulation Coordinator. Dave oversees the circulation of Seay Library materials, the Department of Music's music production equipment, and the off-site collections of the Colorado College Chamber Orchestra and Colorado Springs Symphony Guild performance libraries. In addition, Dave manages student personnel, catalogs and processes incoming materials for the library, maintains course reserves, prepares performance materials for the college’s annual Summer Music Festival, and manages patron library accounts.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Dave spent ten years living abroad in England and performing music on double bass and bass guitar in various school orchestras and bands. Dave has performed across Europe in such cities as Prague, Athens, Vienna, and Lisbon as part of The American School in London’s annual Music Tour. In his spare time, Dave enjoys golfing, movies, watching sports, pickleball, video games, listening to music, and reading.
