Nene Diop

Nene Ndiaye Diop is a PhD candidate in French at the University of Colorado-Boulder's French & Italian Department.  She is currently working on her dissertation; her research focuses on women's writings in Francophone West African literature, on Senegalese literary works in particular.  Throughout her presence in the French and Italian Department at CU, she taught 1000-2000-3000 levels of language and culture, including French 1010, 1020, 1050, 2110, 2120, 2500, 3050 and 3060.

Nene joined the Department of French, Italian and Arabic at Colorado College as a visiting lecturer in 2012 and has been teaching French/Francophone Language and Cultures.  She also teaches in the CC Summer in Sénégal program.

Nene holds a License in Lettres and a Master in Linguistics from the Université Gaston Berger in St. Louis in Sénégal.  She also holds an MA in French from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
