Pedro de Araujo

Associate Dean of the College & Associate Professor of Economics

Pedro de Araujo is Associate Dean of the College and Associate Professor of Economics. As Associate Dean of the College, Pedro focuses on student academic support. His responsibilities include oversight for a variety of student support offices and programs: Accessibility Resources, the FYE Program, Student Fellowship Opportunities, Independently Designed Majors (IDM), Independent Minors, Academic Advising, and Student Academic Progress Review. Pedro chairs the Dean’s Advisory Committee which reviews applications for Keller Family Venture Grants, Life of the Mind Grants, Student Academic Petitions, and Faculty Visiting Speakers. He also serves as the secretary for the Committee on Instruction, and as the Dean’s Office liaison for the Honor Council.
