RM306 - Women of Color Feminisms

Examines the contours and trajectory of women of color feminisms in the United States. Considers how women of color feminisms broaden the parameters of feminism and how a critical consideration of race, class, sexuality and nation complicates the way we think about feminist theory and politics. Examines the nature of the relationships among women of color feminisms. Draws from Chicana feminism, Black feminism, indigenous feminism, Asian American feminism, and transnational feminism.
